Data Champion & ERP Data Workstream Lead
Location: UK (Hybrid / Remote) | Salary: £50,000–£70,000 + Package | 12-Month Fixed Term (with potential to go Permanent or extend)
The organisation is undergoing a major data and digital transformation, including a once-in-a-generation ERP programme. Reliable, structured, and well-governed data is essential to decision-making, compliance, and operational efficiency. As a Data Champion, you will play a central role in preparing, migrating, and governing ERP data, shaping processes, ensuring data quality, and embedding governance standards across the business.
Purpose of the Role
• Strengthen data foundations to support analysis of supplier spend, products, compliance, and other critical metrics
• Improve data usability, format, timeliness, structure, and availability
• Embed global taxonomy, governance principles, naming conventions, and standards
• Maintain trusted reports, dashboards, and data quality metrics
• Ensure ERP-enabled processes adopt correct data ownership, flows, and controls
What They’re Looking For
• 2–3 years’ experience in ERP data management, data governance, or business intelligence
• Knowledge of Supply Management & Procurement desirable
• Experience in project management and delivering initiatives across multiple teams or countries
• Comfortable operating in a matrix, multi-cultural environment
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to multi-task
• Experience working with IT teams and collaborating with stakeholders (finance, catalogue managers, legal, process owners, etc.)
• Strong communication, influencing skills, and a proactive, can-do attitude
• Degree educated; the organisation supports further professional development and sponsorship
This is a high-visibility, strategic role offering the chance to lead ERP data governance and transformation initiatives from the ground up. You will have autonomy, influence, and the opportunity to shape the organisation’s data foundations while gaining exposure to senior leadership. The role is offered on a 12-month fixed-term basis, with potential to go permanent or extend, and supports hybrid or fully remote working.
