Role description
Hiring for a Business Analytics Developer - ONSITE in Middletown, CT β€’ Local candidates only β€’ This is an onsite role 5 days a week in Middletown, CT Job Description We are seeking a talented Business Analytics Developer / Power BI Developer to support operational excellence initiatives within the Cold Section Module Center of a leading aerospace organization. This role involves developing and maintaining advanced analytics, dashboards, and reporting solutions to aid leadership decision-making in manufacturing performance, quality, work-in-process (WIP), pitch management, and equipment utilization. The position is highly visible and collaborative, working closely with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, OPEX, and Transformation teams. This opportunity is long-term with the potential for a permanent position. Responsibilities β€’ Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards supporting manufacturing and operational KPIs. β€’ Translate operational business requirements into actionable analytics and reporting solutions. β€’ Integrate and automate reporting into OACIS, Tier Boards, Power BI, and mobile reporting applications. β€’ Leverage data from systems including Hawkeye, Databricks, Kinexon/RTLS, and Ignition. β€’ Support analytics related to pitch management, quality performance, WIP and flow visibility, equipment utilization, and flow disruptions. β€’ Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, OPEX, Core OPEX, and Transformation teams. Essential Skills β€’ Data analysis and data management. β€’ Data visualization and data science. β€’ Power BI development. β€’ Manufacturing and operations data analytics. β€’ Data integration and report automation. β€’ Experience with Hawkeye and manufacturing data sources. β€’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. β€’ Cross-functional collaboration and requirements translation. Additional Skills & Qualifications β€’ Experience with Databricks. β€’ SQL proficiency. β€’ Experience integrating reporting into OACIS. β€’ Background in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing. β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, or related technical field preferred. β€’ Equivalent practical experience, including strong analytics portfolios, will be considered. Work Environment The work environment is a collaborative and fast-paced setting focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence. The role involves both desk-based analytics work and frequent interaction with production stakeholders. The dress code is business casual, and the position is within a unionized manufacturing environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Middletown, CT. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
