Data Engineer – Contract - £440 Per Day Overview; A leading global tech company is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join its Central Integrity & Support team. This contract role focuses on enhancing internal tools and customer support processes through scalable data solutions and performance metrics. Role & Responsibilities: • Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures. • Build success metrics, dashboards, and reports to support teams. • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to define data requirements. • Contribute to ongoing projects like knowledge base optimisation and user experience improvements. • Handle ad hoc data requests and perform bug fixes as needed. Essential Skills & Requirements: • 5+ years' experience with: • SQL and Python • Data modelling and visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, MicroStrategy) • Data integration tools (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Airflow) • Strong stakeholder communication and the ability to work independently • Background in tech, retail, or data-driven product companies (e.g. streaming, food delivery, social platforms) • Experience with analytics and experimentation is a plus Contract Details: • Duration: 3 months (with possible extension) • Hours: 40 per week (no overtime or shift work) • Location: Remote (UK-based) • between £400 - £450 per day
