What You Will Do
β’ Establish and maintain database management systems, standards, and guidelines.
β’ Ensure quality assurance for database deliverables including conceptual design, logical databases, capacity planning, and security policies.
β’ Document and communicate database designs clearly and effectively.
β’ Evaluate, install, and support database management systems.
β’ Code complex programs and define logical processes on technical platforms.
β’ Build windows, screens, and reports, and assist in designing user interfaces and application prototypes.
β’ Participate in quality assurance and develop test application code in a client-server environment.
β’ Provide expertise in designing and defending database tables and fields.

β’ Adapt business requirements into data and database specifications.
β’ Define table and element attributes for applications.
β’ Analyze and understand original data and storage mechanisms.
β’ Determine data appropriateness for storage and optimal organization.
β’ Design relational models by defining how tables and fields interact.
What You Will Bring
β’ Bachelorβs degree and a minimum of 10 years of directly relevant experience.
β’ Proven experience as a business/process leader or industry expert.
β’ 4β6 years of hands-on experience with:
β’ Databricks
β’ AWS
β’ Apache Spark
β’ Python
β’ PySpark
β’ Strong understanding of data engineering principles and best practices.
β’ Ability to work with large, complex datasets from various sources.
