You can do so here - https://app.gigged.ai/ Project Overview: Role Overview: We are seeking a Contract Data Engineer with deep expertise in AWS data services - particularly Amazon Redshift - to support our retail data platform initiatives. This role is critical in enabling data-driven decision-making across merchandising, supply chain, trading and retail operations. Experience with Azure is a plus, especially in hybrid cloud environments. Key Responsibilities: - Design and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines using AWS services to support retail analytics and operations. - Develop and optimise data models and queries in Amazon Redshift for use cases such as inventory forecasting, retail operations, and sales performance plus others. - Collaborate with data analysts, reporting engineers, 3 rd Party Suppliers, and business stakeholders to deliver clean, reliable datasets. - Integrate data from POS systems, Warehouse applications, ERP, and third-party retail data sources. - Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and governance aligned with retail compliance standards. - Assistance in the design of best practices in a modern data eco-system and support the delivery of the Data roadmap Mandatory Skills and Experience: -Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services, including: - Amazon Redshift - AWS S3, Lambda, Athena, Step Functions, Glue - Proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation and orchestration. - Experience with data modeling and performance tuning in large-scale retail environments. - Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). - Exposure to Azure data tools (e.g., Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake) is a plus. - Strong understanding of retail data domains such as product hierarchy, promotions, customer loyalty, and supply chain.
