Role description
Key Responsibilities β€’ Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL workflows using Python. β€’ Build scalable data models and optimize queries for large-scale analytics in Snowflake. β€’ Leverage AWS cloud services to architect, deploy, and manage data infrastructure. β€’ Ensure data quality, governance, and security across platforms. β€’ Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to deliver actionable insights. β€’ Proactively identify opportunities to improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of data solutions. Required Qualifications β€’ 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering with strong expertise in Python. β€’ 4+ years of professional experience working with AWS cloud services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, EMR). β€’ 4+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including performance tuning, security, and advanced features. β€’ Proven ability to design and optimize large-scale, distributed data systems. β€’ Strong problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering production-ready solutions. β€’ Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications β€’ Experience in the media, entertainment, or streaming industry. β€’ Familiarity with modern data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt). β€’ Knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps for data engineering. β€’ Exposure to data governance, compliance, and privacy best practices. The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $42.35/hour - $66.18/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
