Job Description: Data Engineering Project Manager (Contract)

Qualifications:
β’ Exceptional project management and communication skills, with a proven track record of successfully collaborating across cross-functional teams at multiple levels of an organization. Demonstrated ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders, drive alignment, and ensure seamless execution of complex initiatives.
β’ Strong business acumen and exceptional analytical skills, with 2+ years of industry experience in data analysis, data pipeline development, and AWS infrastructure.
β’ Proficiency in modern analytical tools and programming languages, with 2+ years of hands-on experience in Python, PySpark, and similar technologies. Experience with Databricks is preferred; familiarity with AWS Cloud Services and AWS toolkits is a plus.
β’ Expertise in data technologies, including Python, SQL, Hive, and Git. Skilled in using BI tools such as Tableau, Amazon QuickSight, and others for data visualization and insight delivery.
β’ Hands-on experience designing and managing data pipelines, including ingesting, transforming, and delivering data to support analytics and decision-making.
β’ Strong data storytelling skills β ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights and effectively communicate them to leadership and stakeholders to drive strategic decisions.
β’ Proactive and inquisitive learner, with a track record of identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement. Demonstrated ability to lead change rather than simply respond to it. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
β’ Educational background: Bachelorβs, Masterβs, or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, or a related field.
