Job Description: Data Engineering Project Manager (Contract) Years of exp: 6+ Qualifications: • Exceptional project management and communication skills, with a proven track record of successfully collaborating across cross-functional teams at multiple levels of an organization. Demonstrated ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders, drive alignment, and ensure seamless execution of complex initiatives. • Strong business acumen and exceptional analytical skills, with 2+ years of industry experience in data analysis, data pipeline development, and AWS infrastructure. • Proficiency in modern analytical tools and programming languages, with 2+ years of hands-on experience in Python, PySpark, and similar technologies. Experience with Databricks is preferred; familiarity with AWS Cloud Services and AWS toolkits is a plus. • Expertise in data technologies, including Python, SQL, Hive, and Git. Skilled in using BI tools such as Tableau, Amazon QuickSight, and others for data visualization and insight delivery. • Hands-on experience designing and managing data pipelines, including ingesting, transforming, and delivering data to support analytics and decision-making. • Strong data storytelling skills — ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights and effectively communicate them to leadership and stakeholders to drive strategic decisions. • Proactive and inquisitive learner, with a track record of identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement. Demonstrated ability to lead change rather than simply respond to it. Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Educational background: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, or a related field.
