What you'll be doing • Design and deliver modern AWS-based data lakehouse solutions using services including S3, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation and Redshift. • Build scalable, secure data pipelines with a strong focus on quality, governance and compliance. • Implement PII protection, encryption, masking and access controls across enterprise data platforms. • Design solutions that meet GDPR and regional data residency requirements. • Act as a trusted advisor for customers, translating complex technical concepts into clear business language. • Work closely with stakeholders ranging from engineering teams through to senior business leaders and executives. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, security specialists and governance teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. • Contribute to architecture decisions and help shape best practices across large-scale cloud data projects. What they're looking for • Strong experience designing and implementing modern data lakehouse architectures. • Hands-on AWS experience, including services such as S3, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation and Redshift. • Experience with technologies such as Databricks, Delta Lake, Apache Flink or similar. • Strong Python and SQL skills (Scala is a bonus). • Good understanding of data governance, data security and GDPR compliance. • Experience managing PII securely through encryption, masking and access controls. • Excellent communication skills with experience working directly with customers or business stakeholders. • A consultative mindset with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical audiences. • AWS certifications are highly desirable. • Experience within Media, Broadcast or Telecommunications would be advantageous. Why join? • Work on enterprise-scale AWS cloud and data transformation projects. • Influence architecture decisions from day one. • Collaborate with highly experienced cloud and data engineering teams. • Ongoing investment in learning, certifications and professional development. • Competitive salary and excellent career progression opportunities.
