Location: Remote
Salary: £120,000
SystemsAccountants are partnered with a Global Organisation who are seeking an experienced Head of Data Engineering to lead the development, testing and operational running of a Data Engineering function. This role combines team leadership with strong technical grounding in Microsoft Fabric and environment management, alongside an ITIL centric approach to running data services in a well-governed, stable and continuously improving domain.
Key Responsibilites:
• Lead the development team, including oversight of testing and operational practices.
• Own environment management and platform operations within Microsoft Fabric.
• Apply ITIL-aligned service management practices, including SLA management, major incident management, problem management, and continual service improvement.

What we're seeking:
• Proven experience leading a data engineering or development team, including testing and operations.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and experience managing data platform environments.
• ITIL-centric experience, with a clear understanding of SLAs, major incident management, problem management, and continual service improvement.
