Data Engineer

Title: Data Engineer Duration: 3 months (possible extension) Location: Remote The position requires 10% Travel and qualified candidates near a Quest laboratory location. Responsibilities Dashboard & Reporting Development • Support and enable the development of Business Intelligence and Data Science solutions, design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools (Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, etc.) for customer performance, financial, and operational insights. • Develop algorithms and processes to transform data into useful, actionable information • Ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and visualization consistency across platforms. • Automate recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency and timeliness. Required Work Experience: • Strong experience in functional requirements gathering via stakeholder interviewing to understand what the business needs and then translate to technical solutions timely • 3-5 years’ experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Alteryx, UiPath). • 3-5 years of experience in cloud-based data warehouses (Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics, etc.) • Strong proficiency in Tableau/Power BI for dashboard creation for story telling • Proficient in Python or R for data analysis/science and workflow automation. • Proficient and experience with SQL, ETL processes, and data modeling (integrating data from multiple sources into one like smart sheets, sales force, databases, excel, etc.) Preferred Work Experience: • Exposure to version control systems (Git, SVN) • Understanding of and willingness to embrace Agile Project Management. “Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of – Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans.”
