Role description
PLEASE NOTE: This project is 3-weeks long and would start on 10/6.
Our client is a mid-sized, forward-thinking management consulting firm, recognized by Forbes as one of the “Best Management Consulting Firms.” They are immediately looking for a Data Engineer (Azure/Fabric) to join their Data Analytics & AI team of around 160 people. The engagement will be roughly 3 weeks (120/hrs to start) and could go longer.
Role Highlights:
• Develop and test complex data pipelines in Azure, and Microsoft Fabric
• Troubleshoot and optimize ETL/ELT workflows (ADF, SSIS, Delta Lake, Parquet)
• Build outputs for Power BI/Tableau dashboards and semantic modeling
• Work directly with clients to gather technical requirements and ensure data integrity
• Contribute to agile project teams in a collaborative, consulting environment
What We’re Looking For:
• 1–3+ years of hands-on data engineering experience
• Strong proficiency with SQL
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks
• Familiarity with modern data storage (Azure Data Lake Gen2, Delta Lake, Parquet)
Contract Details:
• Start Date: As early as 10/6
• Duration: 3 weeks (120/hrs)
• Type: Contract, full-time (40 hrs/week)
• Location: 100% Remote
• Rate: Open to market (very competitive!)
