Role description
Tatum Financial Projects Group is partnering with a prominent financial institution to fill a long-term contract role for an experienced Data Management Analyst. This is a 2-year engagement supporting enterprise-level data management initiatives within the financial services industry. The position is hybrid, requiring three days per week onsite at the client's Charlotte, NC location. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Lead and consult on complex, large-scale data management initiatives with significant impact across multiple business units. β€’ Review, analyze, and resolve multifaceted data challenges that require evaluation of various technical and business factors. β€’ Provide guidance and insights on data governance, data quality, and risk-related initiatives. β€’ Write advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large data sets. β€’ Partner closely with the technology team; therefore, must have the ability to read and understand code written in C#, Java, and Python. β€’ Partner with cross-functional teams including risk, analytics, technology, and operations to implement data solutions. β€’ Support compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all deliverables. Required Qualifications: β€’ 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Management, or Data Analytics. β€’ Advanced SQL query writing experience. β€’ Ability to read and interpret various technical languages and code (C#, Java, and Python). β€’ Proven ability to work in a complex, fast-paced financial services environment. β€’ Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with an ability to evaluate multiple variables. β€’ Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities. Preferred Skills: β€’ Experience with market, counterparty, or financial risk data. β€’ Understanding of financial products, including SWAPS and brokerage instruments.
