Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you will join the R&D Technology team supporting a Fortune 50 Consumer Health company. You will help support an advanced analytics team servicing many business users. You will help to optimize analytic delivery that enables the department to deliver innovative solutions and quality products efficiently. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field • 1-2 years’ experience working with larger enterprise-level datasets • Experience organizing data from various sources to curate into new (more efficient) formats for consumption • Experience building data pipelines to source ongoing data updates • Experience collaborating with business teams to partner through solution design, present findings, investigate follow ups, etc. • Technologies: SQL, NoSQL, Postgres, Python, Snowflake, Databricks, PowerBI, Tableau (MongoDB, Kafka/Confluent Kafka/kSQL are a plus also) RESPONSIBILITIES • Partner with Advanced Analytics’ team to help them be more efficient for the future • Help tune and query Consumer R&D information from the business’ data requests • Identify and learn the latest techniques in data management and cloud capabilities • Help assist in the Business Intelligence rationalization thinking and analysis • Assess and help Technical Teams get new environments set up for this department • Independently provide analysis, feedback, ideas to achieve desired results WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? • Working for a well-known, international Fortune 50 company • Exposure to high-level business professionals in a variety of departments and global locations • Access to cutting edge tools and technology • Laid back and relaxed hybrid work environment
