Data Engineer (IoT / Industrial Data) | United States | Remote | Contract | Manufacturing At Agnes Cole Consulting, we are partnering with a manufacturing-focused organisation to hire an experienced Data Engineer to support a growing IoT and industrial data programme. This role will focus on building and optimising data pipelines that process high-volume sensor and machine data, enabling real-time insights and supporting advanced analytics use cases such as predictive maintenance. Responsibilities • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for IoT and sensor data • Develop streaming and batch data solutions using tools such as Kafka or Event Hub • Work with time-series and machine-generated data across industrial systems • Support cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) • Enable data availability for analytics, reporting, and predictive maintenance models • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and analytics teams Requirements • Strong experience building data pipelines for IoT or industrial data • Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Event Hub, or similar) • Background working with time-series or machine data • Cloud data platform experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP) • Knowledge of industrial analytics or predictive maintenance use cases Details • United States based, fully remote role • Contract opportunity • Manufacturing / IoT environment For more information or a confidential discussion, please apply now.
