Title: Data engineer I Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6+ Months Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer / BI Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience in cloud data platforms, business intelligence modeling, and data visualization tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SQL and Python, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset. You will work across various environments to design and implement systems that transform raw data into actionable insights for data scientists and business analysts. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures on cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP). • Create and optimize BI models to support data analysis and reporting needs. • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and other reporting tools. • Write efficient SQL queries and Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems. • Continuously improve data workflows and recommend best practices for data management. Required Qualifications: • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). • 3–5 years of experience in creating BI models and working with large datasets. • Proficiency in Power BI and at least one other reporting tool (e.g., Tableau, Looker). • Strong command of SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis. • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and analytical thinking. • Excellent communication skills and a proven team player.
