Weβre looking for a versatile engineer who thrives at the intersection of Data Engineering, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering. Join a dynamic analytics team and help maintain and enhance critical data platforms that support high-stakes reporting and decision-making.
About the Role
As an Analytics Data Solution Engineer, youβll work across cloud-based data platforms to ensure reliability, scalability, and automation. Youβll manage incidents and outages, implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, and improve processes for analytics delivery. Your work will directly support the creation and maintenance of robust data pipelines, automation of manual tasks, and overall platform performance.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Support Data Engineers in building and maintaining pipelines within cloud analytics platforms.
β’ Implement Terraform scripts, health checks, secrets management, and release processes.
β’ Peer-review code and take ownership of software lifecycle management.
β’ Ensure Site Reliability of cloud data platforms, maintaining uptime and performance.
β’ Drive DevOps improvements in analytics infrastructure and processes.
β’ Perform audit data analysis, manage data restores, backups, networking, access, and reporting gateways.
β’ Manage serverless compute clusters, event hubs, and VM reservations.
Skills & Experience:
β’ Strong experience with cloud data platforms and Terraform.
β’ Proficient in Python, PySpark, SQL, and automation frameworks.
β’ Solid understanding of DevOps practices, Git workflows, and cloud infrastructure.
β’ Experience with serverless functions, data streaming, and analytics workflows.
β’ Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering principles for cloud platforms.
β’ Familiarity with reporting tools, software lifecycle management, and infrastructure monitoring.
β’ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
