Someone who has studied and started working within tech already for 1-3 years but perhaps restricted in terms of growth and wondering what's next. We're currently recruiting a limited number of junior-mid level experienced IT professionals to cross train as a Software Developer, and subsequently place at our key client for ROI. What we (Revolent) require: To apply you should have independent right to work and current experience comprising: • A minimum of 12-24 months experience in software development (SQL or Python) • Writing complex SQL queries related to data manipulation strategies • Building or working with metadata-driven ETL / ELT patterns/concepts. • Exposure using ETL tools (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Informatica, Talend, IBM DataStage, etc.), database platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Synapse, or Oracle), and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker). • Spark, Databricks, Kafka, Kinesis, Hadoop, and/or Lambda. About You: • Willing to commit to a min two years working with Revolent directly (then post-training with the possibility of converting to the client’s perm headcount, following successful completion of your work IT Placement, retention not guaranteed but we've many alumni cases) • Able to commute to Glasgow, Scotland (hybrid basis so ideally for 2-3 days weekly) • Our client is prepared to be flexible for people who live further afield or have personal commitments that prevent them from commuting frequently, if right tech/culture fit!
