Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer responsible for developing innovative technical solutions to improve data accessibility and usage across the company. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in database and pipeline design, data aggregation and analysis, and collaboratively work with development teams and data scientists to enhance system performance and data integrity. This role involves streamlining data flow for advanced analytics and leveraging technology to optimize data delivery and infrastructure scalability.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, build, and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines using Databricks and Spark.
β’ Employ data modeling techniques to optimize databases and large-scale processing systems.
β’ Utilize GitHub for version control and collaboration with development teams.
β’ Ensure data reliability and quality, streamlining data flow for advanced querying and analytics.
β’ Collaborate with data scientists and architects to improve system performance and data integrity.
Must-Have Skills
β’ Proficiency in Databricks, Spark, SQL, and Python with solid scripting and data manipulation experience.
β’ Experienced in building and maintaining data pipeline architectures.
β’ Strong familiarity with GitHub for version control.
Industry Experience Preferred
β’ Prior experience in a data-intensive role within technology or related sectors is preferred. Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus. Hybrid work model requiring presence in office 3x a week.
