Location: Remote EST/CST

Reports To: Director of Data
Seeking a highly self-directed engineer, comfortable-owning end-to-end, and able to manage multiple initiatives while balancing priorities. Youβll work in a fast-paced, collaborative product and engineering team, partnering with engineers, analysts, product leaders, and solution architects to deliver impactful data-driven solutions.
Most Important Responsibilities
β’ Design, build, and support scalable data platforms, cloud-based workflows, and automated data pipelines.
β’ Transform and model data from varied systems to enable reporting, advanced analytics, and strategic insights.
β’ Identify and resolve issues across data quality, performance, and system reliability through architectural and process improvements.
β’ Monitor and remediate pipeline failures, data inconsistencies, and platform incidents, including participation in support rotations.
β’ Develop prototypes and automation to accelerate analysis and improve operational efficiency.
What you can bring to the table to impact this role, team, and organization:
β’ Bachelorβs in computer science or comparable field, or equivalent professional experience.
β’ 2-4 years of experience with SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.).
β’ 2-4 years of experience with Java or Groovy languages.
β’ 2+ years of experience with Orchestration and Ingestion tools (Airflow, AirByte, etc.).
β’ 2+ years of experience interacting with web service APIs (SOAP, REST).
β’ Experience with cloud-based data warehouses and modern ELT/ETL tooling.
β’ Experience working in iterative, agile development environments.
β’ Working knowledge of source control systems and CI/CD concepts.
β’ Experience designing and implementing automated testing (unit and integration)
