Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT and streaming data pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, Kinesis, and Step Functions.
• Write SQL and Python scripts for data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment.
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data freshness SLAs are met.
• Implement physical data models based on architectural standards and collaborate with product teams on feature-specific data needs.
• Apply data validation rules, anomaly detection, and governance practices including tagging, cataloging, and access control.
Requirements
• 3–5 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, and AWS data services (Glue, Lambda, Kinesis, S3).
• Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow and Step Functions, and experience with CI/CD workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for data pipeline operations.
• Knowledge of data governance concepts including lineage, validation, and cataloging.
