Role description
RESPONSIBILITIES: A Kforce client is seeking a contract-to-hire resource that lives in Texas for an exciting Data Engineer III role. We are seeking a motivated, self-starting Data Engineer III who thrives both independently and collaboratively across teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for data-driven problem solving. This role will play a key part in supporting our Commercial Loan Servicing initiatives and modernizing our reporting infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Lead development and enhancement of Cognos Analytics reports, including rewriting legacy reports β€’ Build and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Prep Builder β€’ Conduct SQL-based research and data analysis to support business decisions β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver insights and support project goals β€’ Explore and integrate modern AI technologies to improve data workflows and reporting capabilities REQUIREMENTS: β€’ Cognos Analytics: Advanced report development and optimization β€’ Tableau: Dashboard creation, data prep, and visualization β€’ Modern AI Technologies: Familiarity with tools such as Copilot or similar AI platforms Preferred Qualifications: β€’ Experience with data modeling and schema design β€’ Experience with Copilot or other AI-enhanced productivity tools β€’ Strong knowledge of Cognos Analytics and Tableau tools β€’ Advanced understanding of SQL and database technologies β€’ Familiarity with commercial loans and core banking data β€’ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills β€’ Strong written and verbal communication abilities The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
