Data Engineer

Job Summary Proven experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and programming in general. Strong understanding and experience with complex relational database schemas and SQL management tools. location: Westlake, Texas job type: Contract salary: $70 - 71 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors Responsibilities • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience as a product analyst, business analyst, or similar role in a digital or operational transformation environment focused on customer or associate facing solutions. • Strong understanding of operations workflows and processes, preferably in financial services or other regulated industry. • Ability to translate technical requirements and operational processes into intuitive, actionable product requirements. • Demonstrated experience informing product strategy and delivery, including opportunity identification, solution design, and working with technology teams for delivery. • Proficient with tools such as JIRA, JIRA Align, Confluence, Miro, or other analytics and product planning tools. • Proficient with agile development methodologies and working with cross-functional product teams, engineering teams and business stakeholders. • Strong communicator with proven stakeholder management and storytelling skills; effectively conveys in technology terms verbal and written with usage of data and visualizations. Qualifications Problem-solver that can identify issues, explore solutions and identify next course of action Ability to have hard conversations with business stakeholders thru strong presentation skills of the data and analysis that helps influence the outcome of their decisions.
