Role description
Pride Health is hiring a Data Engineer to support our clientβs team in Illinois (Remotely). This is a full-time, 13 weeks contract to hire position.
Job Summary:
We are a highly skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable data integration, automation, and analytics solutions in an enterprise environment. This role blends data engineering, workflow automation, dashboard development, and AI-driven analytics, supporting both internal and external stakeholders.
This is an opportunity for a candidate who takes ownership, works autonomously, and consistently seeks opportunities to innovate using data, automation, and AI.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Dashboard & Reporting Development
β’ Build interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, and Alteryx.
β’ Develop algorithms to convert raw data into actionable insights.
β’ Ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of data visualizations.
β’ Automate recurring reports for efficiency and timeliness.
1. Operational Workflow Automation & Data Engineering
β’ Engage with business teams to identify manual processes suited for automation.
β’ Build workflow automations using Power Automate, UiPath, Alteryx, Salesforce, or similar tools.
β’ Manage and optimize data pipelines across systems including CRM, ERP, and reporting platforms.
β’ Maintain strong data governance, quality, and compliance.
1. Data Analysis & AI Integration
β’ Use AI/ML techniques to detect trends, anomalies, and patterns.
β’ Provide data-driven recommendations to support business strategy.
β’ Translate insights into actionable plans for customer solutions, billing, finance, commercial teams, and more.
β’ Collaborate with IT teams, architects, and AI/RPA groups to solve complex problems.
1. Project Ownership & Delivery
β’ Drive discussions to identify business challenges and propose solutions.
β’ Work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects end-to-end.
β’ Prioritize tasks based on business needs and adapt to shifting requirements.
β’ Use agile methodologies for rapid product rollout and continuous improvement.
Skills & Qualifications:
β’ Education
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
β’ Work Experience
β’ 3β5 years of workflow automation (Power Automate, UiPath, Alteryx).
β’ 3β5 years working with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Synapse).
β’ Strong proficiency in Tableau or Power BI.
β’ Strong Python or R programming skills.
β’ Strong SQL, ETL, and data modeling experience across multiple sources (Salesforce, Smartsheet, databases, Excel, etc.).
β’ Experience with functional requirements gathering and stakeholder interviews.
