Data Engineer with Matillion Experience (USC/GC Only)

Role - Data Engineer with Matillion experience Location - Secaucus, NJ (Remote) Mode- Contract visa- USC / GC Only Job Details: • 8+ Years of Experience in Data Engineering and in Matillion ELT/ELT tools. • Mastery of Matillion ETL components, including connectors (database, API, SaaS), transformations (Join, Filter, Aggregate, Calculator, Window Functions), and orchestration components. • Understanding how Matillion generated SQL executes on cloud data warehouses for efficient transformations. • Proficiency in advanced job design, modular, reusable, and parameterized workflows, version control integration with Git and environment management. • Awareness of performance tuning within Matillion pipelines to optimize underlying SQL queries and reduce cloud consumption costs. • Expertise in platforms such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery. • Solid knowledge of dimensional and relational modeling (star and snowflake schemas). • Understanding of ETL versus ELT patterns and their impact on pipeline design. • Experience with cloud-based ETL/ELT tools (Matillion, Glue, Data Factory) and data modelling. • Expert level experience with SQL. • Experience with the cloud (AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform). • Experience in cloud-based data warehouses (Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics). • Understanding of and willingness to embrace Agile Principles.
