Title: Data Engineer with MES experience Length of Assignment: 6 months+ contract Location: Remote (EST) Description: The scope of the work being outsourced is to support the Framingham site in creating ready-to-use data and analytics systems. These systems will extract data from source systems and then organize and contextualize data in ready-to-use formats. The work will also include setting up data visualization and analytics capabilities. The scope includes working with the MSAT Process Data Management, ML and AI platform, MSAT DSD Recombinant platform and internal stakeholders (i.e., MSAT, Automation, Digital, Quality, etc.) to gather data analytics requirements of subject matter experts, mapping process parameters to source data systems (e.g. MES, PI, LIMS) and cloud Data Foundations, building data contextualization pipelines in client’s OneAI cloud platform, building data visualization systems and machine learning models. The applications that are part of the scope includes but not limited to JMP, Dataiku, MES Werum, Pi Historian, Snowflake, MS SQL Server, Python, GitHub. Organization/Business Function Background: Client’s MSAT (Manufacturing Sciences, Analytics, and Technology) acts as a crucial link between our Research and Development (R&D) and Manufacturing facilities, playing a vital role in securing the present portfolio and delivering future launches of high quality and innovative drugs and vaccines. Framingham MSAT provides day-to-day support for manufacturing operations, effective Life Cycle Management, process robustness enhancement, and yield improvement to optimize performance. Client MSAT Data Science and Digital Transformation (DSD) contributes to the above MSAT mandate and helps design tomorrow’s industrial biological, chemical and analytical processes to be digitally advanced and equipped for data driven decision-making. We are designing and implementing data engineering, machine learning and AI solutions to improve & optimize manufacturing process performance to reach Client’s Digital and performance ambitions and to capture meaningful insights by turning them into competitive advantages.
