We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer with deep expertise in .NET, Azure, and SQL Server to lead the design, development, and deployment of secure, scalable, and high-performance web applications. This role requires a proven track record in architecting cloud-based solutions, integrating .NET applications with SQL databases, and implementing industry best practices for security and performance. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering innovative solutions that align with business needs. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based web application architectures using Azure services (App Services, Azure SQL, Functions, Storage, etc.). • Implement and optimize robust data integration solutions between .NET applications and SQL databases. • Apply security best practices for authentication, authorization, input validation, and encryption. • Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and development teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. • Drive adoption of architectural standards, reusable components, and design patterns. • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and execute performance tuning. • Research and recommend emerging technologies to enhance solutions and development processes. • Provide after-hours support as required. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation. Requirements: Education & Background • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). • Proven track record in software development across the full lifecycle, including coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. • Strong background in .NET Framework and .NET Core development, including ASP.NET MVC/Web API, C#, and Object-Oriented Development. • Proficiency in MS SQL Server, database design, query optimization, and performance tuning. • Experience with WCF Web Services and Visual Studio. • Expertise in designing and deploying solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. • Ability to maintain and extend technical documentation effectively. Technical Skills • Proficiency in Entity Framework or similar ORM. • Strong knowledge of design patterns (MVC, MVVM, Repository, Dependency Injection). • Familiarity with microservices, SOA, and containerization is a plus. • Experience integrating .NET backends with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) preferred. • CI/CD pipeline experience (Azure DevOps, Terraform, ARM templates) preferred.
