Data Engineer
ASAP Start | 6-8 Week Contract | Hybrid 1 day a week onsite in Worthing | £480p/day (Inside IR35 Via Umbrella)
We’re currently on the lookout for a Data Engineer for an exciting new project. You will be working on a migration project; we are looking for an experienced Data Engineer ready to tackle complex environments.
What I’m Looking for:
• Proven experience as a Platform Architect, Data Engineer, or Senior Data Developer in complex data environments.
• Strong hands-on proficiency with PySpark for data engineering, transformation, and performance optimisation.
• Demonstrated ability to reverse-engineer legacy systems and rebuild them on modern platforms such as Microsoft Fabric or Azure.
• Knowledge of modern data architecture approaches, ideally including experience with the Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Sector experience in energy/utilities or with familiarity across areas such as metering, renewals, or customer lifecycle data.
