Role description
Our client is seeking an AWS Data Engineer to join their team for a freelance B2B contract that is expected to last 12 months, with potential for additional extensions. This position is 3 days on-site in London and 2 days remote.
Project details:
• Position: Data Engineer
• Contract Length: 6Months
• Start date: ASAP
• Location: Hybrid in London, 3 days per week and 2 days remote
• Languages: English Speaking
• INSIDE IR35
Skills and Responsibilities:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong SQL/PLSQL skills, particularly with MS SQL and Oracle databases.
• Extensive experience coding in Python.
• Understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline design.
• Familiar with data lakes and their architecture.
• Experience with Apache Airflow (MWAA) for workflow management.
• Experience with AWS Athena/PySpark (Glue) for data querying and processing.
• Proficient in SQL with experience in both relational and NoSQL databases..
