DS Technologies Inc is looking for Data Engineer – Oracle HCM Configuration role for one of our premier clients. Job Title: Data Engineer – Oracle HCM Configuration Location: Remote Duration: Contract Only W2 Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud configuration to support ongoing enhancements, security management, and process improvements across HR technology systems. The ideal candidate will serve as a Package Specialist – Oracle HCM Cloud, responsible for maintaining user access, implementing configuration changes, and ensuring seamless integration within the Oracle HCM environment. Key Skills: Oracle HCM Cloud | HCM Configuration | Role-Based Access | Security Administration | User Management | Data Engineering | Agile | HRIS | Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Responsibilities: • Maintain and manage user access within the Oracle HCM system, ensuring compliance with internal security policies. • Build and maintain custom roles to support HCM applications and HR business processes. • Respond to and resolve access-related issues and requests related to Oracle HCM system functionality. • Drive agile execution of Oracle HCM system configuration, upgrades, and implementation activities. • Serve as a domain expert for Oracle HCM access and configuration, collaborating with Oracle for issue resolution, feature enablement, and quarterly improvements. • Support post-launch configurations and continuous enhancements for Oracle HCM Cloud. • Collaborate with internal teams (CEG, HR Technology, and other business partners) to align on security process improvements and best practices. • Participate in configuration testing, validation, and documentation to ensure reliability and compliance. • Maintain detailed and up-to-date security process documentation. Key Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud system configuration and administration. • Hands-on experience with user provisioning, access management, and role-based security. • Proven ability to design and implement custom roles aligned with HR business processes. • Strong understanding of Oracle HCM modules, workflows, and integrations. • Experience working in Agile environments and managing system configuration releases. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and collaboration skills across functional teams. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience partnering with Oracle Support for product issues and quarterly patch enablement. • Familiarity with HCM Data Loader (HDL) and Fast Formulas. • Knowledge of data governance and security compliance frameworks. This is a remote position.
