Data Engineer

We are seeking an ETL Engineer to support and enhance an existing data platform by refactoring pipelines, improving data quality, and redesigning data models to support reliable analytics and reporting. This role is ideal for a hands-on data engineer who is comfortable working with raw, inconsistent data and enjoys building scalable, cloud-based data solutions. Key Responsibilities • Refactor and optimize existing ETL pipelines to improve reliability, performance, and maintainability • Clean, transform, and standardize raw and inconsistent source data • Design and maintain data models optimized for analytics and reporting consumption • Build and manage end-to-end ETL workflows to extract data from source systems, transform it (clean, join, aggregate), and load it into a cloud data warehouse • Partner with analytics and reporting teams to ensure data structures support performant dashboards and reports (role is not BI-focused) • Work with imperfect schemas and evolving data sources in a production environment • Support ongoing enhancements and improvements related to cloud data infrastructure and migrations Required Qualifications • 3+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or ETL development • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field • Hands-on experience with: • Matillion ETL • Snowflake • AWS • Tableau (data modeling and downstream enablement, not report development) • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts for analytics use cases • Comfortable working directly with raw data and resolving data quality issues
