Role description
Role: Cloud Data Engineer Location: Omaha, NE Job Type: Contract (100% Onsite from Day 1 – No Remote/Hybrid) Must Have Skills • Snowflake (Strong Hands-on): SQL development, warehousing concepts, workload management • Coalesce: Experience building transformations in Coalesce • Git: Version control and collaborative development workflows Good to Have • Snowflake advanced features: Streams/Tasks, Dynamic Tables, Snowpipe, External Tables, Zero-Copy Cloning • Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (Azure/AWS/GCP), object storage, IAM patterns • Exposure to event streaming (Kafka/Kinesis/Event Hubs) and CDC tools Experience • 8+ years experience in SQL/Snowflake • 1–2 years experience in Coalesce Desired Profile • Strong in advanced SQL (joins, window functions, CTEs, performance optimization) • Ability to translate business requirements into data solutions • Strong problem-solving and data engineering fundamentals • Automation mindset to eliminate manual work • Strong collaboration and communication skills • Proven delivery with first-time-right / zero-defect production standards
