Role description
Data Engineer - SC Cleared Whitehall Resources require a Data Engineer with active SC clearance to work with a key client on a 6 month initial contract. β€’ Inside IR35 β€’ This role will require on site work in Shropshire 2 days per week β€’ Active SC clearance required Data Engineer - SC Cleared Job Description: An engineer to initially be part of the existing project, based on legacy technology, so Unix, SQL Developer, Informatica, Business Objects etc. Once this is completed, they will join a team with varying technologies including the legacy ones above but also using newer cloud-based technologies, so any knowledge in either side would be beneficial at a later date. A person with good enthusiasm and pro-active behaviours to work with other engineers and create a positive team culture, SQL, PL/SQL and Unix experience are a must but would also benefit from experience in Jira/Confluence use, Business Objects & Informatica We’re looking for experienced Data Engineers to help design, build and optimise data pipelines and platforms that make a real impact. What you’ll do β€’ Build, enhance and operate data pipelines for ingestion, transformation and curation. β€’ Design secure, reliable and performant data integration solutions. β€’ Work closely with product teams and stakeholders to shape requirements and deliver high quality data products. β€’ Share best practice, mentor colleagues and contribute to our engineering community. β€’ Collaborate in Agile, multi-disciplinary teams. What you’ll bring β€’ Strong SQL and data modelling skills. β€’ Knowledge of Oracle β€’ Solid understanding of data engineering fundamentals (integration, transformation, orchestration, version control).
