Job Description – Data Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Oracle, PL/SQL, ETL, and Data Warehousing, along with strong experience in BI Reporting tools (OBIEE, Power BI, or Tableau). The ideal candidate will design and optimize data pipelines, enable effective reporting, and deliver scalable solutions across on-premise and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
• Develop and optimize SQL/PL-SQL code and ETL pipelines (Informatica PowerCenter)
• Automate workflows using Unix & Python scripting
• Perform data modeling, dimensional modeling, and performance tuning in Oracle
• Build scalable data integration frameworks for on-premise and cloud platforms
• Work with batch scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys)
• Enable analytics and reporting through OBIEE, Power BI, and/or Tableau
• Collaborate in Agile teams, using GitHub for SCM
Required Skills
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
• 10+ years in Data Engineering & Data Warehousing
• Expert in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL
• Strong hands-on with Informatica PowerCenter
• Proficient in Unix & Python scripting
• Solid knowledge of Data Modeling, Data Integration, and Performance Tuning
• Proven experience with BI Reporting tools (OBIEE, Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience with cloud platforms, batch scheduling tools, and Agile practices
