Role description
Pride Health is hiring a Data Engineer to support our clientβs enterprise data platform. This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Title: Data Engineer
Location: Remote (Must reside in one of 20 Midwest states; Wood Dale, IL preferred)
Travel: ~10%
Duration: Temp-to-Perm
Pay Rate: $55.00 - $62.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
Dashboard & Reporting Development
β’ Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, offering customer, financial, and operational insights.
β’ Develop data transformation algorithms and ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and visualization consistency across platforms.
β’ Automate recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency and timeliness.
Operational Workflow Automation & Data Engineering
β’ Identify automation opportunities by partnering with operational and business teams.
β’ Develop optimized digital workflows using UiPath, Power Automate, Alteryx, Salesforce/CRM platforms.
β’ Manage and maintain data pipelines and integrations across multiple systems (RPA, CRM, ERP, reporting platforms).
β’ Enforce data governance, compliance, and quality across all sources.
Data Analysis & AI Integration
β’ Use AI/ML techniques to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns across customer and financial datasets.
β’ Provide actionable, data-driven recommendations to highlight opportunities and risks.
β’ Work closely with Customer Solutions, Commercial, Billing, Finance, National teams, and cross-functional IT/RPA/AI teams to develop impactful, insight-driven solutions.
Project Ownership & Delivery
β’ Lead projects end-to-endβfrom scoping to deliveryβwhile managing priorities, deadlines, and shifting requirements.
β’ Take proactive initiative to identify problems and propose data-driven or automation-based solutions.
β’ Deliver quick, agile product iterations; test, learn, and refine solutions with stakeholder feedback.
β’ Operate with a high level of autonomy, ownership, and accountability.
Job Requirements:
Required Education
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
Required Work Experience
β’ Strong experience in requirements gathering and translating business needs into technical solutions.
β’ 3β5 years with workflow automation tools: Power Automate, UiPath, Alteryx.
β’ 3β5 years of experience working with cloud data warehouses: Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse, etc.
β’ Advanced skills in Tableau/Power BI for data storytelling.
β’ Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and workflow automation.
β’ Strong SQL, ETL, and data modeling experience, integrating data from multiple sources (Smartsheet, Salesforce, databases, Excel, etc.).
Preferred Experience
β’ Familiarity with Git/SVN
β’ Comfort working in Agile environments
