Role description
We are seeking a Data Engineer to join a growing team focused on building scalable data solutions that support analytics, customer insights, and digital experiences. This role will design and develop data pipelines and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms.
• Optimize existing data workflows to improve performance and efficiency.
• Partner with product managers, analysts, and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support analytics initiatives by developing reliable data infrastructure and enabling insights.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders on integration plans and design decisions.
• Contribute to data engineering standards, documentation, and best practices.
Requirements
• 3–5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong experience building and designing data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks (required).
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark/PySpark.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Solid understanding of ETL processes, data lakes, data warehouses, and batch/streaming architectures.
• Experience supporting data analytics workflows and business intelligence needs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical design choices.
• Ability to work on-site in Irving, TX 5x a week.
Preferred
• Experience with data orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Exposure to customer data platforms (CDPs).
