Data Engineer

Responsibilities Kforce's client in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking a Data Engineer who can design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions. This role demands hands-on experience with modern data platforms, orchestration tools, and cloud services, with a strong emphasis on data quality, performance, and best practices. Requirements • Azure Data Certifications such as DP-201, DP-203 are nice to have; AZ 900 • Snowpro certifications are nice to have • Databricks certifications are nice to have • Experience with Snowflake or Google Big Query or other tech • Experience with Python or Java • Experience with SQL • Experience with Data Ingestion; Real world experience of data ingestion from100s of tables/files • Experience with Azure or AWS Data Engineering technologies • Experience with Data Orchestration (Airflow/Dagster/Azure Data Factory/AWS Glue) • Experience with Azure Function or AWS Lambda • Experience with GitHub or other Version control systems + DevOps • Best Practices: Data Quality & Validation, Testing Practices, Scalability & Performance Awareness • Strong communication skills • Organization and time management skills • Creative and problem-solving mindset • Proactive ownership and adaptability • Availability and work hours: 9AM to 5PM Eastern The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
