POSITION SUMMARY:
The Data Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex data solutions, with an emphasis on Microsoft Azure pipelines. This role will develop robust data pipelines to produce enterprise-wide data assets to support data initiatives.

Salary range for this position is $119,078.70 - $139,216.74 with a progressive benefit package. Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs essential duties and responsibilities in the following areas which may include but are not limited to those listed and are subject to change.
Adheres to the Credit Union's core values and Service Standards in conducting GreenState's mission and vision.
Demonstrates a positive member service (internal and external) focus at all times.
Demonstrates teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.
Ensures confidentiality of member information.
Supports a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Develops comprehensive data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Power BI and other tools
Creates advanced data models and ETL processes across multiple enterprise systems
Implements data governance and quality control mechanisms
Designs and maintains complex data transformations using languages such as Python, Spark, SQL, M, DAX and more
Develops, maintains and optimizes data solutions
Collaborates with business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
Performs advanced data cleansing and preparation techniques
Supports performance optimization of business unitsβ solutions
Strong attention to detail
Ability to take initiative and solve problems independently
Maintains excellent communication with the Credit Union team and the rest of the organization.
Plays a vital role in enriching the community by participating in community service organizations and/or credit union sponsored events, on an annual basis.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
4 to 6 years of experience in data engineering and business intelligence
Advanced proficiency in:
ETL processes, specifically in Azure cloud services
Power BI
Python
SQL
Strong understanding of data modeling and warehouse design
Experience with cloud data architectures
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Financial services industry experience preferred
