Role description
We have immediate requirement for a Sr Data Engineer with our direct clients in Sunnyvale CA. The position is a long term contract opportunity and Hybrid position. Candidate is expected to work onsite 2-3 days in Sunnyvale CA. Looking for candidates who can work on W2. Top 3 Skills Needed or Required Python, Advanced SQL and Databricks Responsibilities: Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture for data intensive applications. β€’ Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements. β€’ Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. β€’ Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using Azure SQL, Cosmo DB, Databricks and other legacy databases. β€’ Build analytics Dashboard/Visualizations utilizing the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics. β€’ Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs. β€’ Keep our data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers and Azure regions. β€’ Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader. β€’ Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems. Additional Job Details Preferred Location: Sunnyvale CA Must be strong and hands-on on Python and Databricks; Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
