Schedule: M-F, 9am - 5pm 4 days a week

The position reports to Senior Manager, PPNR Model Development team within Treasury and Financial Modelling group. This role will analyze, manipulate, and synthesize data from various sources and transform into the data that are meaningful and insightful for loan balance forecast for stress testing purposes in compliance with the TD standards, policies, and procedures.
β’ Support partners and stakeholders in interpreting and analyzing data
β’ Building automated tools and data extraction for development and production.
β’ Develop and maintain complex data models using industry standard modeling tools
β’ Develop and maintain complex ETL jobs and frameworks using the Bank's standard tools
β’ Acquire and maintain expert knowledge of data, including knowledge provided through data profiling, data quality reporting, and via the production of metadata
β’ Support the acquisition and ingestion of data, and data management (including documentation) in compliance with enterprise data standards, policies, and guidelines, across platforms and systems to support model development
β’ Articulate complex, large scale, and high impact technical design and development details to non-technical business partners
β’ Provide support to the development and testing teams to resolve data issues, including escalation support on complex issues
β’ Elicit, analyze, and understand business and data requirements to develop complete business solutions, including data models (entity relationship diagrams, dimensional data models), ETL and business rules, data life-cycle management, governance, lineage, and metadata
β’ Provide support to the development and testing teams to resolve data issues, including escalation support on complex issues
β’ The position must work effectively with business partners, including data providers, platform teams, IT, businesses, Treasury, Finance, and Model Validation and Management Team, to ensure the soundness and accuracy of the model development, implementation and execution.
MUST HAVE:
1.) 5-10 years of relevant experience in advanced data analytics (manipulation, transformation)
2.) 5-10 years of experience with programming languages such as SAS, Python, SQL, VBA
3.) 5-10 years of experience with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
NICE TO HAVE
1.) Previous banking or financial services experience
2.) Predictive modelling/data model governance experience
3.) Experience with Commercial Loans/products, retail lending
4.) Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems, Microsoft Azure
