Roles And Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines ingesting healthcare data (EHRs, claims, HL7, FHIR formats) • Define and optimize data models for data warehouses or lakehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) . • Monitor and optimize pipelines for performance, enforce data quality and compliance (HIPAA/HITRUST) • Lead design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and guide best practices in data engineering • Partner with data scientists, analysts, and compliance teams to translate business requirements into solutions • Implement healthcare specific standards (HL7v2, CDA, FHIR), ensure robust data privacy and regulatory adherence Required Qualifications: • 8+ years in data engineering, with extensive healthcare data domain experience • Proficiency in cloud-based data platforms - GCP and frameworks (e.g. Data Factory, Synapse, BigQueryStrong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala; advanced SQL/data modeling abilities Experience with distributed data systems (Spark, Kafka) and CI/CD pipelines/IaC . • Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
