Role description
I'm currently working with a client in the financial sector who is looking for a contract Data engineer/Architect.
The environment is fully greenfield, with the core data capabilities being built from the ground up.
Key skills they’re looking for:
8+ years professional experience within data engineering related roles
Strong hands‑on Data Architecture experience
Comfortable in greenfield/on‑prem environments
SSIS / SSAS / SSRS
Exposure to Fabric (even at an introductory level is a plus)
Financial services or regulated environment experience
Location: Birmingham (2-3 days onsite requirement)
Contract length: 6 months (Possibility for extension)
Daily rate: negotiable (inside IR35)
Start Date: ASAP
