Data Engineer III (Machine Learning & Cloud Data Platforms)
Location: Dearborn, MI (Rotunda Court)
Schedule: 4 Days Onsite / Week
Experience: 5+ Years

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer III to help design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that support advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives. This role will focus on developing robust data pipelines, modern cloud-based data platforms, and data infrastructure that enable efficient collection, storage, transformation, and analysis of large datasets.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in data engineering, Python development, cloud technologies, and machine learning within large-scale enterprise environments.
What You'll Do
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand current and future data requirements.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data workflows.
• Develop and optimize data infrastructure for collecting, storing, transforming, and analyzing large volumes of data.
• Create and support data platforms including data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures.
• Build data models and analytical solutions that enable reliable reporting and machine learning capabilities.
• Develop automation scripts, algorithms, and tools to improve data engineering processes.
• Monitor data platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvements.
• Ensure data solutions are reliable, efficient, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
Required Qualifications
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong programming experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Expertise with BigQuery for large-scale data processing and analytics.
• Experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and data processing techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and Scikit-learn.
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Experience designing relational databases and data models.
• Experience building enterprise-scale cloud data architectures.
• Familiarity with modern data warehousing, data lake, and lakehouse solutions.
