Job Title: Data Engineering Senior Engineer Location: Dearborn, MI Job Type: W2 Contract Expected hours per week: 40 hours per week Schedule: Hybrid - 4 day onsite/one day remote Pay: $75 per hour Role Overview This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining full-stack software solutions that meet customer and business needs. Engineers engage across the full software development lifecycle, from understanding user requirements and defining architecture to implementation, optimization, and support. The position requires strong collaboration with cross?functional teams and a commitment to secure, scalable, and high?quality software delivery. Key Responsibilities • Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand use cases, pain points, and requirements, advocating for user?centric solutions • Design and implement scalable, maintainable solutions using modern languages, frameworks, and agile methodologies • Define application architecture, technology stack, integration methods, and deployment strategies • Develop intuitive front?end user interfaces and robust back?end services (APIs, microservices) • Define and execute testing strategies aligned with organizational standards and industry best practices • Optimize performance, improve system reliability, and continuously enhance development efficiency • Implement CI/CD practices, test?driven development, and secure coding standards • Support data protection and security practices including encryption and anonymization • Monitor, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies to enhance solution delivery • Collaborate with product owners, designers, architects, and OTA team members using Jira • Design, build, test, and deploy automation jobs (Java/Spring Boot, Python), Angular UIs, and cloud-based services • Set up, maintain, and monitor GCP services including Cloud Run, Cloud Scheduler, GitHub Actions, BigQuery, and Looker Studio Required Skills • Angular: Advanced UI development with strong UX and usability focus • GCP: Hands-on experience with GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Build, Cloud Scheduler, and Big Data tools • SQL: Strong experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases using JPA or equivalent frameworks • Spring Boot: Expertise building backend services integrated with web and UI applications • Java: Advanced knowledge of enterprise Java technologies, libraries, and design patterns • Python: Strong object-oriented development experience and building web services Preferred Skills • BigQuery Experience & Education • 10+ years in IT with 8+ years in software development • Proficiency in two coding languages or advanced proficiency in one • Bachelor’s degree required #INDOEM
