Key Responsibilities:
Design and build scalable data architectures and pipelines
Lead data modernization and cloud migration initiatives
Implement best practices for data governance and security
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements
Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership
Optimize data workflows for performance and reliability
Qualifications
5-10+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture
Expert-level SQL and database management skills
Strong experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, Scala)
Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)
Knowledge of data modeling and warehouse design
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
