This role will focus on supporting data governance, data management, and risk management initiatives, with a strong emphasis on policy development, stakeholder engagement, and compliance. Top 3 Required Skills • Data Governance – 2–5 years • Experience implementing governance frameworks, managing metadata, and supporting compliance initiatives. • Data Management – 2–5 years • Hands-on experience with data quality, lineage, and integration across enterprise systems. • Risk Management – 2–5 years • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and frameworks to assess and mitigate data-related risks. Key Technology Tools • Alation – for data cataloging and governance workflows • BigEye – for data observability and monitoring • Excel – for documentation, reporting, and analysis Daily Responsibilities • Support data governance and management efforts for enterprise data sharing initiatives. • Conduct technical business analysis to translate regulatory requirements into actionable policies. • Use tools like Alation and BigEye to monitor data quality and compliance. • Develop and maintain documentation for policies, standards, and procedures. • Coordinate governance messaging and updates through recurring executive meetings. • Engage with stakeholders across all levels, including executive leadership, to align on governance standards. • Ensure accuracy and clarity in documentation, slide decks, and meeting minutes submitted for corporate reporting. Ideal Candidate Profile • Strong background in data governance, data management, or compliance. • Proven experience in policy development and implementation. • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a cross-functional environment. • High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
