Our client currently seeks a Data Governance Lead to join their dynamic team on an initial 3 month contract. This role is fully remote.
Key Skills:
• Experience implementing data governance frameworks, ownership models, and stewardship processes in cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Azure-aligned governance tooling and practices (e.g., data cataloguing, lineage, access controls, policy enforcement).
• Strong knowledge of metadata standards, data quality dimensions, and rule management.
• Ability to design governance scorecards, KPIs, and conformance reporting.
• Skilled stakeholder management, facilitation, and negotiation across business and technology teams.
• Understanding of information security, privacy, and responsible data use principles.
• Capability to translate complex data issues into clear policies and operating procedures.
