Kforce has a client in Armonk, NY that is seeking a skilled and collaborative Data Governance Specialist with hands-on expertise in Informatica Axon and Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC) to help shape and strengthen our enterprise data governance program. In this role, the Data Governance Specialist will design, implement, and manage governance frameworks that ensure data assets are well-defined, trusted, and aligned to business objectives, particularly supporting critical electric utility data initiatives such as grid modernization, regulatory compliance, and advanced analytics. Duties:
β’ Design, implement, and maintain data governance frameworks using Informatica Axon and CDGC
β’ Define and operationalize data policies, standards, business glossaries, and data dictionaries
β’ Onboard and manage metadata in Axon and CDGC, including lineage, classification, and stewardship assignments
β’ Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify critical data elements and establish ownership and accountability models
β’ Implement data stewardship workflows and support data quality initiatives through integrated governance processes
β’ Establish and monitor data governance KPIs and metrics to measure program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
β’ Support regulatory compliance and audit readiness by ensuring robust data lineage and metadata documentation
β’ Provide training, guidance, and support to data stewards, data owners, and other governance participants across the organization
β’ Work closely with data architects, data quality teams, and IT to align governance practices with data architecture and security requirements
β’ Champion a data-driven culture by promoting best practices and the strategic value of data governance

β’ Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
