Role description
Required Skills & Qualifications β€’ Proficiency in relational SQL and NoSQL databases. β€’ Experience with data modeling tools (e.g., ERwin, ER/Studio). β€’ Strong knowledge of enterprise data management and design best practices. β€’ Hands-on experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling. β€’ Expertise in data catalogs, lineage, and governance frameworks. β€’ Familiarity with business intelligence concepts. β€’ Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills. β€’ Experience writing Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and designing interface solutions. β€’ Understanding of UI/UX principles as they relate to data and interface usability. β€’ Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize interface functionality. β€’ Knowledge of software development, system integration, and interface design. β€’ Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables. β€’ Preferred: Professional certifications in data governance, control systems, or related areas. β€’ Preferred: Familiarity with healthcare/Medicaid data environments. Work Environment β€’ Hybrid work model with the expectation to be onsite in Sioux Falls at least once per month. β€’ Collaboration with State IT, DSS staff, and external partners.
