Required Skills & Qualifications
• Proficiency in relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with data modeling tools (e.g., ERwin, ER/Studio).
• Strong knowledge of enterprise data management and design best practices.
• Hands-on experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
• Expertise in data catalogs, lineage, and governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with business intelligence concepts.
• Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Experience writing Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and designing interface solutions.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles as they relate to data and interface usability.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize interface functionality.
• Knowledge of software development, system integration, and interface design.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables.
• Preferred: Professional certifications in data governance, control systems, or related areas.
• Preferred: Familiarity with healthcare/Medicaid data environments.
Work Environment
• Hybrid work model with the expectation to be onsite in Sioux Falls at least once per month.
• Collaboration with State IT, DSS staff, and external partners.
