Job Title: Data Insights & Automation Analyst β Contractor
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid Option Available)
Duration: 3 Months, with Potential to Extend
We are seeking a Data Insights & Automation Analyst (Contractor) to support the Program Management team by delivering impactful data solutions and automating key business workflows. This role requires strong analytical skills, automation experience, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple program tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
β’ Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI.
β’ Design, build, and maintain Power Automate flows to move data between Power BI, SharePoint lists, Excel, and other systems (e.g., Salesforce exports, manual CSV files).
β’ Implement and support approval workflows (L1/L2/VP), notifications, and data-capture processes aligned with tracking dashboards.
β’ Collaborate with the Power BI owner to convert reporting requirements into automated data pipelines.
β’ Monitor and troubleshoot flow failures, performance issues, and data mismatches; document fixes and strengthen flows for scale and reliability.
β’ Create and maintain documentation including flow diagrams, field mappings, and naming conventions.
β’ Partner with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver solutions.
β’ Support ongoing data quality and governance initiatives.
β’ Present insights and automation results clearly to stakeholders.
β’ Use program management principles to prioritize work, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables meet expectations.
β’ Coordinate with multiple teams to track progress, manage dependencies, and escalate risks proactively.
Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
β’ Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or similar roles.
β’ Hands-on experience with Power Automate (cloud flows) and Power BI.
β’ Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools.
β’ Strong understanding of SharePoint lists, Excel/CSV data handling, and basic data modeling concepts.
β’ Ability to read and work with Power Query (M) and simple DAX (preferred).
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
β’ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
β’ Experience in program management (planning, tracking, reporting).
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
β’ Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation.
β’ Prior experience in a tech or semiconductor environment.
