A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Data Insights Engineer. Position Type: Full-Time, Contract to Hire Duration: 6 months Location: Greenwood Village CO (Hybrid) Schedule: 4 days onsite 1 day remote As a Data Insights Engineer, you will: β€’ Own and enhance existing Tableau dashboards, including taking over and improving legacy visualizations β€’ Measure and report on digital containment, adoption rates, call savings, and customer behavior across self-service platforms β€’ Conduct ad hoc investigations on ambiguous business questions by scoping requirements, pulling data, and delivering defensible insights β€’ Present dashboards and insights to stakeholders and leadership, clearly explaining what the data is saying and why it matters β€’ Collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups to manage competing priorities and communicate trade-offs effectively β€’ Write and interpret SQL queries, including working with and understanding legacy codebases β€’ Support ETL processes, table builds, and data quality validation to ensure reliable reporting β€’ Contribute to metric governance, ensuring consistent KPI definitions across reporting surfaces β€’ Participate in bi-weekly syncs, sprint planning, and prioritization within a structured, sprint-based workflow. The ideal candidate will have: β€’ 4+ years of Tableau experience, including LODs, parameters, performance optimization, and stakeholder-facing dashboards (Power BI is not a fit) β€’ Strong SQL proficiency, including window functions (PARTITION BY), CTEs, UNION ALL, and complex joins, with the ability to read and interpret legacy code β€’ Proven ability to present insights to stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, and communicate trade-offs clearly β€’ Big-picture thinking, with the ability to articulate how analytics impact the customer experience today, in 60 days, and in 6 months β€’ A self-starter mindset, managing time independently, owning scope and execution, and surfacing risks early β€’ Experience or comfort working with ETL processes, data pipelines, table builds, and data quality validation β€’ Exposure to digital analytics, including customer journeys, funnels, containment, and adoption metrics β€’ Understanding of dimensional modeling concepts (e.g., tenure, segmentation, package types) β€’ Strong written and verbal communication skills with a design-forward, data storytelling mindset β€’ A collaborative, transparent, and team-oriented approach, thriving in a hybrid environment with on-site stakeholder engagement Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
